STEPHEN

ELECT STEPHEN ION FOR CASTLE HILL ON IBC AND WESTGATE DIVISION FOR SCC

Stephen lives in North Ipswich, on Valley Road, and was previously an Ipswich Borough Councillor for nine years. So, he understands the area, the issues residents face, and how as a councillor to get things done.

Stephen works as a graphic designer, running a corporate website, and has lived in Ipswich for over 40 years with his wife.

Stephen says: “Most issues as a councillor are not political in nature. While there are big issues that crop up, most are small issues affecting residents. While small in nature, they are important to the individuals concerned. As a councillor, I will always make time to call round and listen to your concerns and seek to find a solution. As well as bringing issues to the attention of residents as soon as I am aware.”

“I am not afraid to put residents’ concerns first before those of the council and party, if needed.”

“I believe Ipswich is ideally placed to be an economic and social centre for Suffolk and the wider East Anglia area. With a new unitary authority on the horizon, anyone elected for Westgate must be able to bring both local concerns and issues, as well as an Ipswich vision, to the forefront of the new council. If elected, I will make that my priority.”
