OUR COMMON SENSE PRIORITIES FOR IPSWICH
Conservatives in Ipswich have been holding Labour to account for their failures.
At Ipswich Borough Council, we proposed:
-A PAUSE to ASYLUM SEEKERS being located in Ipswich.
-A YOUTH COUNCIL, so representatives of High Schools could get involved in the democratic process and have their voices heard.
-Specific KNIFE CRIME STRATEGY for Ipswich to help address this alarming issue.
-Emergency BUSINESS RATES RELIEF for hospitality businesses in the town centre.
-To RULE OUT ANY TOURIST TAX on Ipswich.
The Labour-run Borough Council REJECTED all of these PROPOSALS.
However, we will keep fighting for local people. Nationally Kemi Badenoch and her team have forced the Government into numerous U-TURNS on damaging plans such as their cruel plan to take winter fuel allowance from pensioners. We forced the government to reinstate for most pensioners.
WE ARE the ONLY serious and professional alternative to Labour.
