Thank you to Suella Braverman for heading all the way up from Hampshire to support my campaign for re-election here in Ipswich, says Tom.
Suella wanted to send a message to Ipswich voters on my behalf.
Suella was a courageous Home Secretary who said what needed to be said on issues such as immigration. Like Suella I agree we need to leave the European Convention of Human Rights to be able to comprehensively deal with illegal migration and the small boat crossings. She was crucial in supporting me to ensuring that the Novotel was one of the first hotels in the country to be stood down from being used as asylum accommodation.
I agree with the Suella's message in this video. It's vital that Conservative candidates such as me and Suella are supported. In both our seats there is a choice between us, candidates with proven track records in standing up for peoples concerns on immigration or Labour candidates who are out of touch with the majority of British people on this vital issue.
