You won't be surprised to know that bearing in mind my activities this week with the joint letter and my interventions in the Commons I have decided to write about plans to remove elective Orthopaedics from Ipswich Hospital and to transfer these vital services to a new centre in Colchester.

It's a very important issue and I will not let up over the coming weeks. I will take more actions next week to further put this on the Government's radar. Local NHS bosses must be held account for the decisions they make
