Your Bixley Councillors

In May your Bixley Councillors promised you they would not let the subject rest. In June your Bixley Councillors joined forces with local residents to fight back. In September your Bixley Councillors won.

Welcome back to your Polling Station at Broke Hall Primary School.

Last May, Bixley residents, who have voted all their lives, rightly refused to cross Heath Road in the pouring rain to cast their vote. This led to the lowest turnout for many years.

Lead Petitioner, Maureen Hedges was delighted that common sense had finally prevailed.

“This area has some of the most elderly residents in Ipswich. It was ridiculous to take away their polling station. I’m pleased to have played my part in having that decision overturned.”

Now we’ve got our polling station back don’t forget to use it.

Have your say and Vote – whoever it may be for!
