We’re going to bring forward a fresh domestic agenda for MPs’ approval, with a Queen’s Speech on 14th October.

This means the current session of Parliament (the longest for nearly 400 years) will be brought to an end in the normal way in early September, giving time for the traditional party conferences to take place as usual.

When MPs come back, they will have the opportunity to scrutinise our plans laid out in the Queen’s Speech.

They will also have ample time to debate Brexit before we leave on 31st October, including the new deal with the EU we hope to strike at the EU Council on 17th and 18th October.

Tom Hunt, our man in Ipswich who is working to become the next MP commented - "Whatever their precise statements or explanations, it's becoming increasingly clear that a worryingly large number MPs are determined to do whatever they can to overturn the result of the EU referendum.

"As much as they may pontificate about their own self importance and right to be heard, they appear to be deaf when it comes to listening to the clear democratic will that was expressed over 3 years ago by the people of our country.

"We do not need further delay, we do not need a second referendum, what we desperately need is for Brexit to be delivered so that we can move on as a country and focus on other key issues. We need to leave the EU by the 31st October. Come what may. The Prime Minister has my full support in doing what he needs to do in order to ensure this."
