Conservative Group Leader Cllr Ian Fisher, along with Cllrs Liz Harsant and David Goldsmith attended the Suffolk Pita Festival. It was organised by the Bangladeshi Support Centre and was hosted at the Suffolk New College.

Ian commented "It was the first time I had attended this event and I was immediately struck by the warm welcome we all received. There was a huge offering of different food stalls  and my taste buds were certainly tingling afterwards.

"The BSC reaches out to advance education and empower individuals and communities throughout Suffolk. The organisation has recently been granted funding by Councillors through the Area Committees and their application was championed by our own Cllr Goldsmith."
