This is a photo of Holywells Bowls Club which shows their wonderful bowling green and the pretty flower beds they have cultivated and the fencing which the members themselves erected. The Club decided to self-manage their green over 18 months ago and because the Club had so often been the victim of anti social behaviour they asked the Council to find them some fencing which they have erected themselves and now made their Club completely secure. This is an example of the Big Society where the members have taken over the running and maintenance of their Club at their own expense. They should be applauded for their hard work.
