Government smashes apprenticeships target

The government has exceeded its ambition of creating 50000 adult apprenticeships in the 2010-1 financial year. In fact it actually created 103000 adult apprenticeships. This shows the government's commitment to getting people back into gainful and purposeful employments and reducing the number of NEETs in the UK. This apprenticeships programme will keep on generating new opportunities for people across the whole of the UK as the government has created a target of introducing 250000 more apprenticeships by 2015.

The Conservative have created more apprenticeships in one year than Labout did over three terms of Parliament. We are the party of opportunity and employment.
