A study by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development has found that Labour's education policies let down the poorest children in the UK. This study, highlighted this week by the Schools minister Nick Gibb, found that the UK is well below the OECD average for helping poor children achieve at school. The UK is now ranked 28th out of 35 developed countries for poor children's achievement and has one of the most visable gaps between the achievements of rich and poor children.
