Unhappiness at backland deal

At the last Planning and Development Committee the Labour members, who now have a majority on the Committee, voted unanimously for the backland development in Levington Road to go ahead.  This was in spite of many letters of protest over a 6 year period, the lead protester speaking at various planning meetings and myself at the last meeting  - so in spite of my belief that the fundamental principle of planning was to protect what local residents want this was blatantly ignore by Labour.

This decision sets a precedent for the rest of the town where there are many roads like Levington with long gardens which are now under threat.
