A new bench has been put in Cliff Lane.
This seat has been in Cliff Lane for a long time.
It was put there by the late Councillor Eric Grant in memory of his son’s untimely death. Over the years it has got very tired looking and it is with great delight that that Cllr Liz Harsant has been working to have it replaced with a refurbished seat from Holywells Park and the plaque reinstated.
And here it is. So with the bus shelter having been cleaned and the foliage trimmed back residents should enjoy waiting for a bus or even just sitting and enjoying this lovely part of Holywells Ward.
