I have been a trustee of the Ipswich Furniture Project for as many years as I can remember and we held our AGM this week which was so well attended. Ben Gummer (the Conservative MP for Ipswich) was our guest speaker and he gave a very enlightening speech on the world economy and then came with us to look at the work of the project. It is a much understated charity helping those not as fortunate as ourselves to furnish their property not just with second hand furniture but white goods as well.
