Along with a significant group of colleagues, I met with the Home Secretary last week to discuss the significant concerns we have about illegal immigration. The majority of us have hotels in our constituencies that have been housed with those who have entered our country illegally so this was also a key point of discussion.

As many of you will know the Home Secretary has pretty robust views on the issue herself and the conversation was reassuring but decisive action really does need to follow. Urgently.
