Knife crime in Ipswich is a big concern for Ipswich residents, hitting the headlines more frequently. Our Conservative Borough Group proposed a new knife crime strategy. Non-political, we wanted cross party support.

All we wanted was for Ipswich Borough Council to lead the way in creating a Knife Crime Strategy just like other councils have. The Labour Group struggled to see beyond their political colour for the greater good for Ipswich and instead blamed the government and rejected our proposals.

Our town needs action & it was let down by Labour Councillors playing politics.
