The Housing Minister Grant Shapps has launched the FirstBuy scheme this week. This housing scheme will help those first time buyers struggling to find a large deposit for a new home. The first homes will be available in September. Around 15000 people can benefit from this scheme and it will be a great alternative to having to rely on parental funding for a deposit for your first home.
